Must Listen - What a Very Sad Story, in today's Ethiopia!!
Even war prisoners are treated humanely and given all the legal protection in wartime. But, in Abiy's Ethiopia, let alone war prisoners; innocent suspect prisoners are not getting the very least proper medical treatment. It is really sad to hear that medical professionals are not treating patients ethically. I am amazed why TPLF is silent about such atrocities? Zeru Hagos March 2020
Ethiopia weathers US, Egypt pressure over national dam project In an exclusive interview with The Reporter, Sileshi Bekele (PhD), Minister of Water, Irrigation and Energy blamed the US government, the self-turned negotiator represented through the State Department of Treasury, for its unfaithfulness in the last legs of the GERD negotiations. If Ethiopia had a nationalist, pragmatic and astute government right now, the government would have taken advantage of the current state of confusion around the world. Every government in the world is consumed by the coronavirus and have little interest in interfering in international political affairs. Trump is an isolationist president. The only reason he was involved in the first place is that Abiy allowed him to intervene. Now that Coronovirus is ruining Trump's legacy, he is less likely to insist on Ethiopia to sign any international deal it does not like. According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump will likely lift the tax on Chinese goods to thwart a recession in America. DR Seleshi all eyes are on you. If Abiy insists on signing any deal before Ethiopia has an elected government you should resign in protest!

Thinking Out Loud! - It is more likely Abiy will issue a decree to postpone the election within two months. Abiy may dismiss parliament due to corona-virus before the current term expires. What should Federalists do if this happens? The worst scenario Federalist forces can do is to allow Abiy and Ahadawiyan/Unitarian to consolidate power. Federalist forces should come together and form a transitional government immediately. The transitional government should comprise of regional state leaders with minimum responsibility at the federal level. Regional governments must be responsible to manage their economy and political affairs/boundaries. The interim federal government should only supervise current federal projects and maintain the military to protect sovereignty. No new federal projects should be issued. Ethiopia's future lies in finding a workable confederation. It is better such an arrangement is tried sooner than later. ...Zeru Hagos March 23, 2020,
MELES: US 'overstepped' mandate on Nile waters talks The Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya Meles Alem Tekea speaks on the choppy Nile waters talks and the Grand Renaissance Dam...Ethiopia outright rejected it and clearly stated that it is for the three countries to draft an agreement based on their negotiations. But the US Secretary of the Treasury went ahead and overstepped the observer role.
Coronavirus medical supplies donated by Alibaba's Ma arrive in Ethiopia ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - The first batch of protective and medical equipment donated by Chinese billionaire and Alibaba co-founder Jack Ma was flown into the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Sunday, as coronavirus cases in Africa rose above 1,100. While Abiy's Arab friends are trying to undermine Ethiopia's sovereignty siding with Egypt, China the one Abiy's neo-liberal friends dislike is and has been trying to help Ethiopia find its way out of poverty. What happened to all the good EPRDF folks within OPDO and ANDM?

How could Abiy be so cruel to block people from reading and listening to such vital information? What have the great Oromo people done to deserve such treatment? Even Humanrights Watch can not hide the crime their darling puppet is committing!
