ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia (June 1, 2018) The aspirant local coaches selected for training in advance of the Ethiopian NGO Leadership Coaching Summit 2018 have been announced.  The Summit is a unique opportunity for NGO leaders in Ethiopia to meet world-class executive coaches, and to learn how coaching can help them overcome some of the key challenges they face, particularly building capacity.

After receiving and reviewing numerous applications from talented and hugely enthusiastic people, 30
aspirant local coaches have been chosen to participate in the first internationally accredited coach certification program to be held in Ethiopia. The rigorous training process, sponsored by EthicalCoach, is a six-month program to train future coaches and is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. It is being led by Professor David Clutterbuck, a renowned pioneer within the coaching and mentoring profession, with contributions from other leading executive coaches and supervisors.

The aspirant local coaches come from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience within Ethiopia. They are:
Ahadu Gebreamlak, Aklilu Abate, Amakelech Lulu, Annelien Meerts, Aynialem Tilahun, Bekri Ahmedin, Deborah Lundstrom, Ebba Tesfaye, Eskender Kassa, Fouzia Muhsin, Gifti Nadi, Haregewoin Semachew, Kalkidan Abera, Karin Wilms, Lamrot Fikre, Leah Dejenu, Matthew Broderick, Pretty Mehta, Rahel Asefa, Rakeb Wandimagagnehu, Sara Groenendijk, Saskia Kloezeman, Solomon Sisay, Tenadam Kaleab, Tsedale Adamu, Wubet Girma, Yared Shiferaw, Yewbdar Tasew, Yohanes Neda, Yonas Tegene.

Of these aspirant coaches, 10 will play a key role in helping coach NGO leaders following the NGO Leadership Coaching Summit, which is being held on October 4 - 5, 2018.

The NGO Leadership Coaching Summit will take place at the UNECA.
