Washington, D.C., January 15, 2012 – The second stage of the highly successful conference titled “Collaborative Investing by the Ethiopian Diaspora in the U.S.” will take place in Northern California (Silicon Valley) on Saturday February 4 and a week later in Los Angeles, on February 11, 2012.

The California conferences are continuations of the inaugural event recently held in Washington, D.C., which was attended by hundreds of participants.

These private sector led conferences are designed to discuss investment opportunities available to the very large and increasingly successfully Ethiopian Diaspora in the U.S., which in 2010, sent about $1.0 billion to their families and friends back home.
