Ethiopian delegation leaves for New York to attend UN General Assembly

 

 

 

 

 

Addis Ababa, September 21, 2009 (Addis Ababa) - Ethiopian High level delegation led by Prime Minister Meles Zenawi later on Sunday left for New York, USA to attend the 64th General Assembly of the United Nations.

http://aigaforum.com/news/meles_trip.jpgThe delegation will also discuss on bilateral and multilateral issues with leaders of various countries, who are in New York for same cause.

Climate change, Africa’s agricultural development, food security and good governance, among others, will be the major agenda of the assembly.

After concluding participation at the assembly, the delegation will take part in G-20 meeting to be held in St. Petersburg City of the USA, according to ERTA reporter on the spot.

The UN General Assembly comprises 192 member countries.
