Anything wrong with EPRDF or All is Well!

The transformation phase of the long campaign that started some 35 years a go is about to start. EPRDF member organizations have been electing their leaders for the next two years. The EPRDF leaders have been telling us  about a phase  plan  to transform their respective organization leadership team- that is to replace the veteran leaders with new and young for a while now.

So far we have seen three of the four member organizations list of names for the executive team. The OPDO and ANDM have no women in their executive leadership team and the TPLF only one!

The question we have is why did TPLF fail to bring up more women to the leadership team? Why did the OPDO and ANDM fail to bring, not even one, woman to the executive leadership level?

Is there a systematic problem within the organizations or  is it simply a reflection of the Ethiopian society we have today. It is hard to take what seems to be the face value, that TPLF has only one female qualified person today! It needs an explanation, if not for anything else, to help the ongoing larger picture of transformation of the country. The public needs to be convinced these new leaders are able persons to lead the nation nothing else! Have Your say!
