Patriotism full, colonization lacks;
Invasion unthinkable, unsuccessful attacks;
An African legacy, a pride for all blacks;
Hospitable and humane;
A refuge for all men and women;
From beginning to the end;
A cradle of mankind;
This is not a mere fantasy;

SHE is:
The mother of the Hararis;
The mother of the Gambelas;
The mother of the Southern Nations and
Nationalities;
The mother of the Ben/Gumuz;
The mother of the Somalis;
The mother of the Oromos;
The mother of the Amharas;
The mother of the Afars;
The mother of the Tigrians
The mother of all Ethiopians;
Not only Ethiopians, the home of all
Africans;
Not only Africans, the refuge of all humans;

SHE is our mamma Ethiopia!
Mamma loves her children equal;
Her children also love her equal;
No one is elder and no one is younger;
No one is inferior and no one is superior;
Unlike that of the Dergue
and the Emperor;
The only and right choice is Federalism;
The wrong and failed one is unitary
centralism;
No more for dictator socialism;
No more for exploitative feudalism;
No chance for neocolonialism;
No place for nepotism;
No way for chauvinism.
Appreciable is Federalism’s sanctity;
For our common matters, there is a unity;
For each unique feature, there is diversity;
The sum of unity and diversity equals our
beauty!

Autonomous executive, judiciary and
