ETHIOPA TO MAKE A WAR AGAINST THE WILD BLUE NILE

Ethiopia is producing many extraordinary projects not only national but also those that have remarkable international characters. One of these is the project that realizes Millennium dam on river Blue Nile.

The aim is to make this wild river hear and obey to what Ethiopia says. This means the wild river must abandon its natural laws and adapt Ethiopian Republic made laws. In other words the river must be tamed exactly like the mule of Oromo, or ox of Tigray or cat of Amhara. Then it will be used as electric power or energy. As a result we will see an electric light, stove, iron, guitar, train, etc. not only in the cities but also in the villages.

This will not only close the gap between town and village that was prevailing for years, but it will also change the status quo of the village. With this Ethiopia will see a modern village not that sort of Axumite kingdom.

So river Abbay must change politics and be democratic, because it is a majority’s decision. When great number of Ethiopia calls must learn to say abiet /አቤት. There is no reason that you say yes for Cairo and no for Addis Ababa. The voice is clear and laud and the language is new. This means that Ethiopia is not speaking in its different local languages but in science the language of its engineers. This testifies that the approach is scientific that has the ability to change the course. Really it will be a great important lesson to all small wild rivers of Ethiopia.

The war is between to abandon and to adapt. It is obvious that the almighty wild river, that was king of kings of Ethiopia, will not surrender easily but it will fight with all the laws that are at its disposal.

But Ethiopia is not that of yesterday. It is of today Republic Ethiopia. It can make a war against any aggressor and it can win thanks to its democratic system. In addition to this it is a mother and it has the right to be heard and respected. This concerns not only the wild river but also the other wild and the most dangerous crocodiles that are living there. The farmers must breed crocodiles and eat eggs, meat and sell the skin as goat’s skin. I hope that I eat crocodile-dish in restaurant of Bahredar one day.

The national commitment will take years. The Ethiopians are moving in extraordinary way to realize the dream of their nation. I guess it will be one of the greatest black man’s works on earth.

The beneficial effect of this project is enormous.

•The Ethiopian mother will not go to forest to fetch fire-woods so she will declare her emancipation.

•As result the forests will be more dense, forest animals will be more safety, there will be more rain fall and Abby will be more energetic. Does Egypt know this law? Egypt commands only the mouth of Nile not the source. But if she is wise enough it has huge interest in the project.

•It will be closed the era of የቆሎ ተማሪ and will start new era of የኮምፑተር ተማሪ. This is what a real change is.

The project is very generous because it puts in consideration the neighboring countries. With this Ethiopia is cultivating peace and prosperity on the ruins of war culture that was prevailing for centuries. On this fact in my judgment as an Eritrean the project is remarkable. I hope that the others learn something from this that gives hope for those who are in despair.

I strongly believe the day it is realized Ethiopia will not see only the finished dam but also the fruit of united power. This is what I call democratic community value. For me this is the guaranty of democratic republic Ethiopia. With this Ethiopia accommodates its culture; sees the closure of many wounds like famine, poverty, etc; re shines its beauty and advances. God bless Ethiopia!!
