Report on August 11, 2013 event in Boston with Memihir Gebrekidan. Boston, Massachusetts August 11, 2013: Close to 100 people were present at the Tegaru History day with the renowned and author of two best seller books Memihir Geebrekidan Desta. The gathering was hosted by the UTNA Boston Chapter. On the day Memihir’s excellent and witty teaching ability was at best in explaining the great contribution Tegaru had and continue to have in Ethiopian history. He was using all folk lore’s, poetry and the many references in helping the gathering delve in to Ethiopia’s rich past and our forefather’s great contribution. Many questions were raised with some critical analysis of his two books. The ever full of answer Memihir Gebrekidan Desta answered all to the satisfaction of the inquisitors. Memihir Gebrekidan new book titled Embita antsar wererti was on sale on the occasion. We, the assembled had a rare opportunity to have Memihir autograph our books.
