I have read the Arnold strategy you recently posted. After watching the inarticulate and tongue-tied man's so called analysis (I do not know who he is), I simply said to myself "This people indeed do not know the hardship that the people of Tigray experienced."

They do not know that this same people had paid thousands of qeyahtn tselemtn "reds and blacks"- as it is commonly said by the Tigreans- to realize where Ethiopia now is. They do not know this same people have, still, a hand and glove relationship in times of hardship and peace.

What a sharp, diametrically contrasting use of the word 'merfiE' - needle at ETN and the clip-'Zom Dekina' posted at Aiga.

I liked that part. I liked the way that that inarticulate man at ETN used the word 'needle' and Letemeskel and her co-singer used it at the 'Zom Dekina' song.

In the ETN man's analysis, he makes the analogy that as the farmers use a thorn or spike to take out another thorn or spike in their flesh, often the sole part of the foot, It is a sinister and of course futile appeal to the extremist opposition in the Diaspora to use the Tigreans in order to unseat another Tigreans- H.E. PM Meles in his case. 

On the contrary, in Letemeskel patriotic song, the reference is made to signify the intimacy and ones of the people of Tigray in times of trying circumstances. They put it like this, 

merfiE do tsefi Bezeyka ta fetli

welad zebelkma wedxi atsembli 

To people like the ones on the ETN, the singers also have something to say, in the same song,

anta wihij diyyom hasser zixulssu,

hilmi eyyu belulna ne-Ana kebrsu.

This roughly means, is it flood or straw that these people (which perfectly matches people like in the ETN) are piling or heaping up; please tell them that attempting to decimate us is just like a mere dream.
