The eleventh sessions of the United Nation at eleventh hours! W.Yilma November 9, 2021
As we know the genocidal war declared against the people
of Tigray is continues unabated since November 4th/ 2020 by the
dictator Abiy Mohamed Ali. Weeks after Abiy came to power he tirelessly working
hard to isolate not only the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) with whom he
works closely for 27 years, but also the entire people of Tigray. In conjunction
with the Eritrean dictator and the Amhara anarchist Hutu militias, the Abiy
government has committed heinous crimes against humanity, ethnic cleansing and
genocide on the people of Tigray. What need to be clear here is that the war which
is going on in Ethiopia currently is not the war of Abiy alone, but also by the
involvements of the Amhara elites and the Eritrean dictator, Isayas Afewerki. In
fact, what the world communities should know is that, if they have honest
interest to stop the war which is going on in Ethiopia today (which I believe
is the reason they held an open session yesterday) they have to actively and
aggressively engage with the Eritrean dictator Afewerki. Ethiopian military,
and security apparatus are entirely infested by Eritrean agents. Abiy Mohamad Ali
allowed this to happened.
To me the recent United Nation session is a soccer team game without the ball. If the United Nation session want to bring lasting peace, they have to take into consideration the following points, 1.The war which is going on in Ethiopia is not an Ethiopian war. It is the war of the Amhara elites in conjunction with the Eritrean dictator Isayas to expand land territories by illegally invading the territory of Tigray. Abiy in this case is serving as an agent who is accomplishing the interests of these two groups. Currently, it became apparent that there is a secret agreement (even Abiy is unaware of it) between Isayas and the Amhara elites, how they will rearrange the internal boundaries of Ethiopia in a way it could benefited both Eritreans and the Amhara regional state. They agreed this because of the following reasons. 1.1. To form a united front between Eritrea and Amhara regional state in particular with issues related to Tigray. 1.2. They both have concluded that the people of Tigray (they want to cover-up by saying TPLF) are their number one enemy, and they should work together to conduct systemic ethnic cleansing, and if resistance persists, destroy their social fabrics by committing genocide. At this particular time, it is my believe that all the known ten stages of genocides are executed against the people of Tigray by the forces of Abiy, Eritrean defense forces, and the Amhara Hutu militias. 2.Both the Eritrean dictator and the Amhara elites are secretly agreed to develop jointly Wolkait and Raya by creating a new land corridor that connect the Amhara regional states with Eritrea through Humera. 3.If the Abiy government is incapable of cooperating with them to fulfill their secrete agendas, the Amhara elites has got a promise from Isayas to create their own an independent Amhara centric defense force, with the ultimate goal of creating a united armed force with Eritrea.
Taking the above-mentioned issues into consideration, Abiy no longer have the power to decide about the fate of the war going on in Ethiopia. The continuation of the war will have a devastating outcome for the people of Ethiopia, both socially, economically, and militarily, and will become the main cause of Ethiopian balkanization. In many of my previous articles posted in this website, I repeatedly expressed my concerns that if Ethiopia is disintegrating, it is because of the Amhara elites blind, hateful and infantile political belief. Similarly, Ethiopia disintegration will be accelerated when Diaspora hooligan politics get ground in Ethiopian domestic affairs. What make things worst is that the Amhara elites have got a good friend like Isayas to speed-up Ethiopian disintegration, and we are almost there now!
Understanding the complexity of the Tigray war, due to the involvement of Eritrea, and the open supports of Abiy receiving from China, Russia, Turkey and Iran the Tigray war should not be considered as an internal affair of Ethiopia. The people of Tigray not only betrayed by the rulers from Menelik palace, but also by the majority of the Ethiopians what Abiy called them “short memories”. This indicated that to stop the war in Tigray and to stop the carnage of the innocent Tegarus by human beasts, the international communities’ decisive actions is imperative. The crimes committed on the people of Tigray for the last one year is the first in its kind in the 21st century. Abiy and his cohorts knew sooner or later they will be accountable for the crime they have committed against the innocent people of Tigray. Knowing they will not have a chance to escape from trial by the international criminal court, for the heinous crimes they committed against humanity, ethnic cleansing and genocide, in Abiy’s camp fear and hopelessness is on the rise. Because of this, it seems that they conclude that they don’t have a chance other than continuing the destructive war in Tigray. Understanding this, what is the civilized world looking for, and for how long the world communities show tolerance while innocents people including children are suffering due to manmade starvation and denying access to various services including the right to get health care? Action, action and again action is needed now to stop the Tigray genocide! The vulnerable people of Tigray are tiered of a leap service from international communities. Eleven meeting by the highest world organization with no a single action to save one life! What is worst is that the report released recently by the UN human right council regarding Tigray is a clear indication the failure of this organization to bring peace even basic justice for victims of rape and human right violation, both for vulnerable social groups.
Last, If the international communities are honest and have an intention to stop the suffering of the Ethiopian people living in war affected areas, they have to come together to persuade Ethiopians to agree (if needed put pressure on those standing against peace) on the following main issues: 1. Immediate and unconditional withdraw of Eritrean military and security officers from Ethiopian territory. 2. Unconditional release of all political prisoners, including those Tegarus illegally arrested for serving in the military, security and other institutions. 3. Cessations of hostilities by all parties 4. All-inclusive political dialogue with the presence of neutral foreign as well as domestic individuals. TPLF should avoid a unilateral negotiation with Abiy criminal regime. 5. An establishment of a transitional government for the minimum of two years. By any standards, Abiy regime should not be considered as a legitimate government to lead Ethiopia at this stage. This must be clear for the international communities! Abiy is a traitor allowing the Eritrean dictator to kill, torture, looting and destroying Ethiopian public and private properties.
6. An establishment of neutral foreign as well as domestic body to investigate the crimes committed in Ethiopia by any groups against organizations, individuals (international assistance and help is vital in this case), and victims should be compensated to give lessons similar crimes should not be committed in any part of the world in the future. 7. All infrastructures, institutions and investments deliberately and intentionally looted and destroyed in Tigray by the invading army, including by Eritrea should be compensated. 8. The Amhara Hutu militias, and the Eritrean regime armies should withdraw from the occupied Tigray territories. Similarly, Tigray defense force should do the same from those territories temporary occupied by TDF. Land dispute should be solved only through legal process. 9. Until agreement reached by all Ethiopians, and Tigray no longer have a threat from within and outside, the Tigray defense force should not be disarming unilaterally.
Tigray will prevail, and glory to martyrs!
