Comment  On Addis next Mayor

Addendum: EPRDF is going to administer Addis again. It needs to do a lot to gain the momentum before election 2010. According to Fortune Kuma will be he Next Mayor. Kuma - a typical opaque party hack. He was Oromia president, defense minister, he was every where and nowhere. There is nothing that stands out about him. And he is not supposed to stand out by design, by the revolutionary democrats misguided principle of making Leaders, some of whom on close up are said to be witty, funny and humble and caring individuals, to be devoid of these human elements in public for fear of building personality cult. By FRONT for all its intent has not shade its communistic style, and which hatchet cadres tell us needs no transformation. This flaw has cost them in the last election where the last mayors likeability was never allowed to be a dividend to the party. On the other hand the opposition was able to separate Arkebe from EPRDF and define the rest, who are helpless to define themselves, in any image the opposition wished.
