We wonder if what PM Meles used to call "idiots" includes the folks at IMF? We are sure ICG, International Rivers and the small time hustlers from the extremist Ethiopian Diaspora are included but we wonder if there are others too? Anyone who suggest the most unifying and critical development project that has both economical and political advantage be dropped ought to be included in the idiots camp...which the Ethiopian government should ignore and not waste a second of development time!

Mission statement from the Democratic one!
Comment:-  Opposition figures like Seye must stop cajoling the extremists in the Diaspora if they want to remain useful in politics. The extremists have been betting their political luck based on what happens to key political figures in EPRDF namely: Meles. Meles is martyred and if at all their luck has gone from bad to worst - we do not think that is what they were expecting! Thus, Seye must be out of his mind to demand a different route just because Meles is deceased. Change in Ethiopia is already in place and the people are vowing to continue the path that has been started by PM Meles’ leadership. Just because the leader at the helm has died it does not mean the party will deviate from the program. As Aboy Sebhat said it does not matter who is alive or dead the service already provided for the people and country will continue under the EPRDF leadership. Seye should also come to terms that everyone from all walks of life mourned the passing away of Meles because they witnessed first hand his full commitment to serve them unconditionally. They saw a PM Meles passing in front of their eyes struggling to build dams, roads, schools and irrigations! People saw Meles and his government was really trying hard to bring change that was/is meaningful to their lives! That is why people mourn Seye! It is not because Meles was God sent King or Prime Minister! We also think the diaspora politicians like Seye should pay attention when it comes to how democracy is a work in progress in Ethiopia therefore they should devise ways and means to be part of that progress. We never understood why Ethiopian politicians fly around the world when there is so much work to do in the home front in Ethiopia! Do they really think the diaspora influence politics in Ethiopia? It seems like no lessons were learned from the Kinjit fiasco?
