The UCLA Film & Television Archive presents acclaimed Ethiopian-born filmmaker Haile Gerima in person with his film Teza (2008), next Monday, September 13 at the Billy Wilder Theater in Westwood Village.
In addition to celebrating this important new film by an alumnus of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, this screening honors late UCLA professor Teshome Gabriel
who passed away in June 2010. Proceeds from this screening will benefit the memorial scholarship fund established in Professor Gabriel’s name.
