In short, the Generals/Tegadleit Military Leaders said, Tigray and Tigrayans are advanced people who understand rule of law and the role of political leadership. The message from the president is clear. There should not be any ambiguity by any of us who support the people of Tigray as to what the mission is and what lays ahead. In short, there is no going back. Shet Meanta and do your part and spend less worrying about what others are doing.

Western officials confirmed Tigrayan reports of an assault on several fronts. Aid workers said it will intensify a dire humanitarian crisis.
NAIROBI, Kenya - The conflict in northern Ethiopia has escalated sharply in recent days, as Ethiopian forces began a sweeping offensive in a bid to reverse recent gains by Tigrayan rebels, Western officials and Tigrayan leaders said. U.N. officials said the attack will deepen the humanitarian crisis in a region that is plunging into the world's worst famine in a decade.

UN recalls Ethiopia migration head over Tigray war remarks
The United Nation's migration agency has put its Ethiopia chief on administrative leave, citing "unauthorised interviews" in which she complained of being sidelined by UN higher-ups she claimed were sympathetic to Tigrayan rebels.

The lady was a scum bug herself and should not have been left there ever since the recording was exposed to say the least. As they say, better late than never!

The UAE-Ethiopia Airlift: The investigation techniques.
On 07 Oct 2021, I reported identification a total of 45 flights from the United Arab Emirates to Ethiopia. This article is part two of a series of two articles about this find. The first[1] article, which was published yesterday, is about the shady history of the aircraft and their current operator. This second article goes deeper into the technical side: how do I know that these aircraft actually visited Ethiopia?

EU Parliament Resolution: a move to the right direction?
Danai Adhenom 10.10.21 - The EU Parliament Resolution of 7 October 2021 on Tigray/Ethiopia, deploring the expulsion of UN officials from Ethiopia, which is a flagrant breach of the UN Charter, calls upon immediate ceasefire, an independent investigation of international offences, unfettered access to aid and opening public services to Tigray.

Re-imagining the Ethiopia Crisis: What the U.S. Can Do
Elias Dawit 10-04-21 - The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is in a tough spot. Every day the U.S. issues another warning about the humanitarian crisis in Tigray while its food aid sits in warehouses-unable to move because the Ethiopian government is hell-bent on starving the people of Tigray. Not even USAID's administrator, Samantha Power, has been able to move this food despite an official visit to Ethiopia where she was ignored by Abiy Ahmed. Ms. Power had accused Abiy Ahmed....

Very well articulated and reasoned suggestion on how to end the conflict between Abiy's Ethiopia and Tigray. We wish if friends and supporters in Diaspora can save their energy spent elsewhere and concentrate on the United States. Pressuring the White House to use its limitless power will go a long way than pressuring an inept international community. Way to Go Elias!!!

Ethiopia used its flagship commercial airline to transport weapons during war in Tigray
(CNN)- Ethiopia's government has used the country's flagship commercial airline to shuttle weapons to and from neighboring Eritrea during the civil war in Ethiopia's Tigray region, a CNN investigation has found. Cargo documents and manifests seen by CNN, as well as eyewitness accounts and photographic evidence, confirm that arms were transported between Addis Ababa's international airport and airports in the Eritrean cities of Asmara and Massawa

Statement by the Tigray-Eritrean Solidarity Forum: Manmade famine about to wipe out the people of Tigray: The need for immediate action
TESFA 07 October 2021 - Over eleven months since the Ethiopian Government declared the genocidal war on Tigray, the combined Ethiopian, Eritrean and Amhara Forces have engineered a man-made famine with dire consequences. At the moment, more than 900,000 Tigrayans are in a state of active famine with immediate risk of death by starvation.,

The Question of ethnic identities or nationalities and within the Eritrean context - a personal perspective
Tedros Amanuel 10-10-2021 - Like most of the current states in Africa, Eritrea too was created during the European 'scramble' for Africa. It is in fact the adverse consequence of the historic Battle of Adwa 1896, the pride of many Africans, when a multi-ethnic peasant army achieved the unthinkable and wiped out 70 % of the invading modern Italian army in just a single battle! The emperor Menelik, however, hindered his victorious generals from pursuing and destroying the Italian army...,

Ethiopia's widening war could be catastrophic for millions. The U.S. needs to step up pressure.
Opinion by the Editorial Board - The rainy season is coming to an end in Ethiopia's conflict zones, which means that the fighting season could be about to begin....Abiy Ahmed, freshly sworn in for a new five-year term on Monday, has been massing government forces near Tigray,... Barring de-escalation, the consequences - especially for the 6 million people of Tigray, at growing risk of famine - could be catastrophic.

OPEN LETTER TO THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY ON THE EXISTING HUMANITARIAN CRISIS IN TIGRAY
ACSOT 10-07-21 - The Alliance Civil Society of Organization of Tigray/ACSOT/, an umbrella more than fifty civil society organizations operating in Tigray, appeal for the immediate intervention of your office on the humanitarian crisis in Tigray. We all recognize your excellency Secretary General your full understanding of the whole context of the war in Tigray as well as your deep concern on its subsequent effects on the lives of millions of Tigrayans,

Why the U.S. should call the famine and violence in Tigray a genocide
(Washington Post)- Mawi Asgedom - Over the past 11 months, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's government has killed, raped and tortured ethnic-minority Tigrayans en masse. Will the Biden administration label these acts a genocide and impose appropriate consequences? If not, the United States will effectively greenlight genocide for any leader ruthless enough to follow Abiy’s playbook...

How to Destroy a Country: Does Ethiopia Have a Future?
Here's an easy five-point plan for the leadership of a country which has emerged from civil war and dire poverty over recent decades and now wants to destroy itself. First, pick a fight with a corner of your territory run by a previously powerful minority ethnic group. Cut off their resources. Provoke them into a response. Send in the army. Invite a neighbouring army in to rape and kill civilians and destroy their crops, businesses, schools, and clinics. Persuade the victims they are about to be subject to a genocide and promote hate speech about them among the rest of the population.

Urgent Call for Direct Aerial Delivery of Humanitarian Aid to Tigray.
GSTS 10-05-21 - It has been over three months since the World Food Program (WFP)1 said it was hoping for air bridge to Tigray to deliver desperately needed humanitarian supplies. The 11- month-old war and 3-months long de-facto humanitarian aid blockade by the Ethiopian government and its allies...Air bridges and air drops have been successfully used for humanitarian access in various countries, including in Syria, Sudan, and Afghanistan, for a number of besieged and hard-to-reach communities. The GSTS believes the desperate situation in Tigray requires immediate similar interventions to end to the inhumane siege

WHAT OUGHT TO BE NEXT US MOVE?
Ezana Sehay 2021-10-03 - At the end of the most devastating war ever [WW2], the human race made two new set of rules which are mutually incompatible. To break the endless cycle of wars we simply made it illegal for one country to attack another or meddle in others’ internal affairs. Such rule made sovereignty absolute.

(CNN)- The United Nations has rebuffed Ethiopia's decision to expel seven senior UN officials as the country's war-torn northern Tigray region descends into famine, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Friday.. Guterres told the President of the UN Security Council on Friday -- in a letter seen by CNN -- "If the current trajectory continues, I fear for the future of many Ethiopian lives, and indeed for the stability of the country and the region....

'Back to square zero': Ethiopia's Oromos rebuke Abiy at festival
At the first sound of gunfire, Lelise Abdissa leapt into a ditch for cover, only to be crushed by other panicked revellers as Ethiopian troops clashed with protesters during a religious festival five years ago.
We really do not care anymore about anything that happens inside the failed Ethiopian state but the title of this article was so telling, we wanted to share it with you, our esteemed readers! The Qerro so-called revolution may have succeeded defeating Desalgn Hailemariam government but it has created a monster and a failed state. Let us see if Abiy is kind enough to allow himself removed from power like his predecessor. They both are evangelical Christians so must have the same God that tells them people's power must be heed right? Anyways, like Getachew Reda said on his Facebook page, Tigray nonetheless is moving on with its mission to undo the siege it is facing and unlike Qerro it is using force to be free and determine its future.

On New Amhara President
Readers Comment
- Readers! Are you amazed as I do about the proud Amhara People's predicament they are in? How did they fall for Abiy to continuously dehumanize and belittle them? In less than three years he appointed five different presidents and yet the elites among them are saying for so long? All my life, I thought Amhara were nationalist and one of the main pillars holding Ethiopia together. Not anymore! I am questioning myself if I were wrong to think as such for so long? What happened to the people? Do you know the answer?
Dawit Aregawi Sept 30, 2021.

Where is the outrage for Ethiopia?
(CNN)The sudden fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban has rightly drawn much of the world's ire and attention .And yet, much to our distress, for nearly a year the world has paid comparatively little attention to another brutal and escalating conflict; the catastrophic violence in Ethiopia. Tigrayan women and girls are being subjected to sexual abuse with "a level of cruelty beyond comprehension ."In media reports, local medics have described removing nails and rocks from the bodies of victims. Again, we ask: Where is the outrage?

Numbers Don't Lie!
Aesop 09/25/2021 - Nowadays, we hear Derg 2.0 (2018-2021) overtly dehumanizing Tigreans. It does this because it does not expect any consequences. It does not expect any consequences because its mindset is fixed on comparative census. Derg 2.0's mindset (and rhetoric) is hinged on these numbers. This "logic" goes like this: 1) Premise: Tigrai's population is 20 times smaller than the rest of Ethiopia. 2) Transition/Leap Frogging: Tigrai is at least twenty times less powerful than the rest of Ethiopia, 3) Conclusion: wiping off Tigreans should be easy. This "logic" makes a false equivalence between census and power/victory
