Meaza Ashenafi Becomes President Of Federal Supreme Court Addis Ababa, November 1, 2018 (FBC) – The House of People’s Representative (HPR) today approved the appointment of President and Vice President of the Federal Supreme Court nominated by Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed. Meaza served as a Judge of the High Court of Ethiopia between 1989 and 1992. In 1993 she was appointed by the Ethiopian Constitution Commission as a legal adviser. Solomon Areda, a former judge, is a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), an intergovernmental organization located at The Hague in the Netherlands.

The Board of Executive Directors approved the fund on Tuesday -- a $600 million loan and $600 million grant -- from International Development Association (IDA), the bank said in a statement. Without no doubt, the World Bank must be amazed at Ethiopia! Despite all the tribulation, Ethiopia has been mired in for the past few years its economy has been growing. This is a naked testament to the strength of the Revolutionary Democrats economic policy. PM Abiy should not be blinded by western institutions praise! (Aigaforum) Oct 2018 - The city of Mekelle has signed 44.5 KM road project with SUR Construction. The construction which will start immediately will connect the city with neighboring villages as well as enhance inner city road connections. The project will have 23 road sections and is expected to be finished within 3 years time. The project which is expected to cost over 2.5 billion will be paid in 7 years with no interest.
