Four Campaigns for one goal: Rendering Tigray Unviable
Kalayu Abrha 03-30-21 - People become more vulnerable to any next attack if they consider the series of attacks as isolated incidents triggered by passing emotions. The invasion of Tigray and the untold brutalities that followed have alarmed any sane minded human being, except those who are literally in a huge lunatic asylum called Ethiopia.

Tigray: Thousands of Tigrayans are again being driven from their homes.
The dusty buses keep coming, dozens a day, mattresses, chairs and baskets piled on top. They stop at schools hurriedly turned into camps, disgorging families who describe fleeing from ethnic Amhara militia in Ethiopia's Tigray region.
If the Amhara fano and militia think they will have the final say on land distribution they are badly mistaken. Such cruelty can not be left unchallenged. I fear the future the extremist have laid with grief. Zeru Hagos March 29, 2021

A Tale of Two Nobel Peace Prize Winners from Africa: Abiy Ahmed and Denis Mukwege
Nebiyu 03.29.21 - Two of the most recent recipients of the award for peace from Africa are, in 2018 and 2019 respectively, Dr Denis Mukwege, a gynaecologist and activist from DR Congo and Abiy Ahmed Ali from Ethiopia. Dr Denis Mukwege "campaigns globally to bring the use of rape as a weapon of war to an end. He was awarded the 2018 Nobel Peace Prize for his activism."

THE HORN OF AFRICA CIVIL SOCIETY FORUM REPORT ON TIGRAY
The Horn of Africa Civil Society Forum (HoACS Forum) is a regional network of civil society organisations working together to monitor and expand civic space in the countries in which they operate. Established in March 2016, the HoACS Forum) in response to the diminishing civic space for civil society organisations (CSOs) in the greater HoA region. In 2018 Prime Minister (PM) Abiy started a very much welcome peace process with Eritrea. An initiative for which he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2019. However, it is now clear that the talks between PM Abiy and President Isais were not about peace and normalisation of relationships; they were high-level secret preparations for war against Tigray. A Tigray whose autonomy and whose political elites emerged as mutual enemies requiring removal, especially following the September regional elections1

Manifesto of the Ethiopian Multinational Federalists Support Force
EMFSF 03-28-21 - In the last three years, Ethiopia has moved from a hopeful moment of a democratic transition to the precipice of falling apart as a state. The combined effect of the turmoil caused by a mismanaged and derailed political transition, the impact of protracted state-sponsored conflicts and the chaotic management of the political space, has led to extremist forces capturing the federal government...

The Tale of the Two Dictators
Aynalem Sebhatu 03-26-21 - A contest between Colonel Mengistu and Isaias Afewerki would indeed have been a great comparative study in dictatorship in the Horn of Africa, but instead of Mengistu, we suddenly found ourselves dealing with a charlatan and a pathological liar, a man cut from true fascist cloth: Abiy Ahmed. For one thing, Abiy has never been, nor he can ever be a democratic leader. He carries a good deal of demagogic political baggage.

The "Banality of Evil": Abiy Ahmed, Adolph Eichmann and the Ethiopian People
Elias Dawit 03-25-21 - In a speech to the Ethiopian parliament this week, Nobel Peace Prize winner Abiy Ahmed admitted his brazen lie about the presence of foreign troops (Eritrean) in Tigray. That statement, however, took a backseat to his stunningly craven admission of gang raped as a weapon of war against the people of Tigray. According to Abiy Ahmed, women were indeed raped in Tigray by soldiers, but his soldiers had been attacked from behind with machetes.

Abiy Ahmed's Parliamentary Briefing on Tigray: Fact and Reality Check ( Part I       Part II)
Isaac M. 03-27-21 - In his lengthy parliamentary address of 23 March 2021, on current national and regional issues, Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia admitted atrocities and sexual violence committed by his army and the Eritrean forces in Tigray, and the 'crossing' of Eritrean forces into Tigray, Ethiopia. These and issues of withdrawal of the forces and accountability for mass abuses are Fact and Reality checked in two parts.

Stubborn Dictators
Kalayu Abrha 03-27-21 - The Cambridge English Dictionary defines a stubborn person as: "a person determined to do what he or she wants and refuses to do anything else...has huge arguments and is difficult to move, change, or deal with... refuse to accept defeat".

GSTS Letter to H.E. Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield
GSTS 03-27-21 - The Need to Deploy a United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Investigation Commission in Tigray
GSTS appreciates the leadership of His Excellency President Joe Biden and his emissary, the Honorable Senator Chris Coons, for their relentless effort in pressuring the Abiy administration and Eritrean government to accept realities on the ground and the demands of withdrawal Eritrean and Amhara forces from Tigray by the international community...

UNHRC Must Conduct Independent, Not a Sham Investigation of the Genocidal War on Tigray
M. Tesfay; 25 March 2021 - It is in its fifth month since Tigray, an Autonomous and Self-governing Region within the Ethiopian Federal Republic, has been under the grip of the invading and occupying forces of the Ethiopian Federal Government, the Eritrean Regime and the Amahra Regional Government Special Forces, Militia and Fano Paramilitary.

Reports of executions and mass-rape emerge from the obscured war in Ethiopia's Tigray region
Johannesburg - The medical charity Doctors Without Borders has revealed details from the gruesome war playing out virtually out of sight in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region, reporting that government forces executed civilians in cold blood.

All: Do not buy into Abiy Ahmed's claim of Eritrea will withdraw its soldiers from Tigrai. He is simply trying to water down US pressure and derail the US and European forthcoming Sanctions. The Abiy regime nor the Isaias regime cannot survive independently. They both need each other. The only salvation for Tigrai will come when the legally elected govt of Tigrai is restored and both Abiy and Isaias are held accountable. And they will!

A letter to Your Excellency Ms Michelle Bachelet, United Nation Higher commissioner for Human Rights:
Seb-Hidri Civil Society Tigray 03-25-21 - Subject: Allowing Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, itself a partner-in-crime, and Genocide co-author, be a party in investigating war crimes and crimes against Humanity committed in Tigray, will not bring justice but impunity, making the entire process be one of the greatest miscarriages of Justice in History!

Ethiopia: MSF staff attacked after witnessing killings by soldiers in Tigray
March 24, 2021-Karline Kleijer, head of emergency programs for Doctors Without Borders/M├ędecins Sans Frontieres (MSF), gave the following statement today in response to events in Ethiopia:We are horrified by the continued violence in Tigray, Ethiopia. This includes the extrajudicial killings of at least four men who were dragged off public buses and executed by soldiers, while our staff members were present, on Tuesday, March 23.

Intentionally confusing battle with human rights violation
Kalayu Abrha 03-25-21 - War is a bad thing. There is no question about that. It's not fun even when soldiers kill soldiers. However, it is a way of life in this world where humans resolve their differences mostly by the barrel of the gun rather than on the top of a table. The inevitability of war has obliged the world to formulate some rules to be strictly adhered to during military conflicts.

The Moral Dilemma of Ethiopian Religious Authorities
Fessahaye Mebrahtu 03-24-21 - Ethiopian religious leadership individually and collectively could not pass the political moral test in the Tigray region civil war. Such failure of moral leadership and prophetic voice in the darkest hours of the country, the Ethiopian religious leaders lost credibility, from which will be hard to recover. The religious leaders and elders, who came to Mekele to mediate, exposed their moral failure.

Tigray conflict: The 'twisted joke' of denial in the violence is finally laid bare
Tuesday 23 March 2021 20:09, UK(Sky.com) - For the past five months the head of the Ethiopian government has adamantly denied the existence of Eritrean troops, together with their military hardware, in the northern region of Tigray.Today, Abiy Ahmed dropped the pretence, admitting in the country...

Abiy Ahmed confirms Eritrean troops entered Tigray during recent conflict
ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) - Ethiopia's Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed confirmed for the first time on Tuesday that troops from neighbouring Eritrea entered the northern Tigray region during the five-month-old conflict
Now that he [Abiy] has admitted Isaias Afeworki is his partner in crime, and the invading soldiers are committing atrocities in Tigrai, what will Russia and China say? The U.S must continue to put pressure on the invaders to leave Tigrai so the legally elected government of Tigrai is restored. We know Abiy is admitting his guilt due to U.S pressure.

Diaspora Ethiopians and the Hall of Shame
Aynalem Sebhatu 03-23-21 - Amhara and Eritrean nationalists marched through Washington DC, Toronto, Los Angeles and other cities last week. The rallies are organized by Ethiopian and Eritrean embassies in DC with close collaborations of disillusioned members of the Amhara extremists and supporters of Isaias Afewerki in the wake of the international ...

Sanction all Genocide Cronies in Tigray, Ethiopia
Fitih Silehizb, 22.03.21 - If the international community is serious about halting the on-going horrific atrocities, sexual violence, total destruction of livelihoods, famine, forced displacement of millions of Tigrayans and the continued armed violence in the region, they should impose sanctions targeting the Eritrean, Ethiopian and Amhara war crime and genocide cronies without delay.

The Real "Junta" Leadership Resides in the Menelik Palace
Elias Dawit 03-22-21 - A junta is a small group ruling a country, especially immediately after a coup d'etat and before a legally constituted government has been instituted. For those following the endless lies, rumors and innuendo of the Ethiopian Prime Minister, the word "junta" is used to describe the regional government of Tigray in a transparent attempt to de-legitimize a duly elected government. (
