According to TGTV, the US Court of Appeals has agreed with the lower court decision in regard to "JOHN DOE, ALSO KNOWN AS KIDANE, APPELLANT v. THE FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF ETHIOPIA, APPELLEE"

As you know the Ethiopian government was sued for infecting the appellant computer with secret spyware and wiretapping his private Skype calls, and monitoring his use of the computer.

The US district Court dismissed the lawsuit in its entirety. The case was appealed to the US Court of Appeals.

Today, March 14, 2017, The United States Court of Appeals for The District of Columbia Circuit made a decision on the appeal. IT AFFIRMED the US District Court's decision. Staytuned for more on the issue from Mesfin Bezu!

Some of you have asked us to check if the rumor about President Gedu propagated by ESAT is true. We are unable to ascertained the rumor but the Amhara regional parliament is in session and is expected to finish its meeting by tomorrow. Also, PM Hailemariam will brief the Ethiopian parliament tomorrow! In short we will know for sure if there is any development by tomorrow! However, if the rumor is true, it is one more confirmation ESAT has indeed penetrated the establishment there to get such information first and our assessment - that the extremists have managed to hijack the civil disturbance of last year!(Aigaforum March 15, 2017)

Genale-Dawa is coming

Burning the Floor with Demon
Amen Teferi I read the callous piece Mr. Ismail Mohammed Abdi has written on the stubborn and intermittent conflicts between the inhabitants of the Oromo-Somali borderlands. Well, the sloppy article: “Shedding Light on the Recent Violence in the Border Areas between Somali and Oromia Regions of Ethiopia” has a skewed rendition of the reality that it intends to purport.

Interview with Dr Hagos and Dr Markos on the closure of Markos Special Health Center in Mekelle
(Aigaforum) March 2017- Ethiopia's progress in the health sector front is incredible. The progress made so far in reducing maternity death and illness from preventable diseases is amazing. There are now more clinics and health post in the countryside where most people live. Recently a special health center in Mekelle was ordered to close due to 'failure' to meet standards. Although much has been done to improve the overall health service needs, the country is in a dire need for a special health center...For More  Interview

Ethiopia: “I feel like I have been given a second life by the doctors and nurses here.”
The spread of acute watery diarrhoea across Ethiopia in the last year has claimed many lives and affected thousands through severe dehydration. Médecins Sans Frontières has been working with the Regional Health Bureau to intervene rapidly in communities suffering from this potentially fatal disease.

The Ethiopian boomtown that welcomes water firms but leaves locals thirsty
Towards the end of the day at the Abyssinia Springs bottled water factory near Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, workers hose down the car park liberally. Outside the gates, residents of the Sululta area trudge along the road with empty yellow jerrycans...[While waiting to hear what the Oromia and Federal Govt plans to do about this issue, we wonder if the Addis Ababa integrated plan that was shelved would have solved such problem! It is articles such as this the extremists are using to fill anger and to scare investors!]
