Ethiopian Telecom law affirms personal use of VOIP Serivces (Jul 12, 2012).
The Ethiopian Parliament approved yesterday(7/11/12) the draft Proclamation on Telecom Fraud Offences as Proclamation 761/2012.
The new legislation voids the previous prohibition on private use of VOIP services under the 2002 Telecom legislation which included Skype and Google Talk.
It does, however, prohibit the provision of telecom operator services without a permit

The first time we received an article on G7 internal squabble we were not sure if the sender was simply a disgruntled member or if indeed G7 was in trouble! Today it is fair to say G7 is in trouble and they have no one to blame except their choice of political struggle.
