AU Decides to Erect Monument to the late PM Meles Zenawi and King Haileselassie July 4, 2017 - The AU decides to erect monument to remember former leaders of Ethiopia. King Haileselassie who was founder of AU was overthrown by the military government of Mengistu Hailemariam during the 1974 revolution. He along with the late PM Meles Zenawi who died few years back will now have a monument to remember them. PM Meles was without no doubt one of the architect of African renaissance in modern times!

What to Believe: If Omo Kuraz 1 is entering Production why is ENA quoting Parliament criticizing METEC for a delay? The EPRDF government should not allow party politics to drag the completion of these projects! By now people should have been informed if the delay is due to cash shortage or capacity shortage! METEC as a young corporation was created to create employment, develop talent and capacity, as well as to manage big projects. Government should have known METEC was going to need a learning curve period!
