Tigray Army Rested, Energized! Ready to finish the unfinished business unless miracle happen soon and signatures are placed on the dotted line for a cessation of hostilities!
Elias Dawit 01-09-22 Buddha says there are three things that cannot be hidden: the sun, the moon and the truth.
Beginning with his declaration of victory over Tigrayan Defense Forces (TDF) just weeks after the fighting began in November 2020, Ethiopia's Abiy Ahmed has mastered the art of dealing with ferenjis (foreigners). He lies and then he lies again. This is the fundamental misunderstanding of the international community when dealing with Ethiopia's leadership, particularly Abiy Ahmed.
ADDIS ABABA (Reuters) -The Tigray People's Liberation Front, the party that controls most of the northern Ethiopia region of Tigray, on Sunday accused Eritrea of attacking its troops.
In another development in the conflict, aid organisations suspended their operations in an area of northwest Tigray where 56 civilians were killed by an air strike over the weekend, the U.N. agency for humanitarian affairs (UNOCHA) said.
(Reuters)An air strike in Ethiopia's northern region of Tigray killed 56 people and wounded at least 30 in a camp for the internally displaced, two aid workers told Reuters on Saturday, citing local authorities and eyewitness accounts.
Isaac M. 01-06-22 -The spokesperson of the Ethiopian regime, Mr. Legesse Tulu confessed, without any hesitation and endeavor of hiding his regime's agenda, that their policy of starving and sieging Tigray is meant to defeat the 'terrorist' TPLF; he publicly said that such an illegal siege can only be lifted if, and only if, the people of Tigray rises up to dispose of that political organization.
Bloomberg, Jan 6A Nobel Peace Prize should not shield the prime minister from sanctions for war crimes and rights abuses. Could Joe Biden become the first American president to sanction a Nobel Peace Prize winner for war crimes and human-rights abuses? As the U.S. steps up efforts to end Ethiopia's bloody civil war, it must reckon with credible reports that the government of the 2019 laureate Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed instigated the conflict and covered up gross abuses.
Abrham Berhane 12-26-21 -This short article covers a brief history of Dr Mikael Tessema a Tigrayan who shaped early Ethiopian politics. Dr. Mikael was an intellectual that suffered at the hands of Italian fascists and was also home imprisoned by Haileselassie. It is too sad to see imposters and pseudo nationalist rewriting history hoping to belittle the role of Tigrayans.in shaping Ethiopia The fact is: Tigrayan elites were at the forefront of the struggle to build a peaceful and prosperous Ethiopia then as now.
NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) - China's foreign minister says his country will appoint a special envoy to the Horn of Africa region, where Ethiopia and Eritrea have been fighting forces from Ethiopia's Tigray region and Somalia is in the grip of a political crisis caused by a long-delayed election. It looks China is also getting it that its dream of realizing the silk road is in danger with out Tigray. Even if this appointment is to grandstand the U.S effort it is good to know China is realizing the power of the Tigrayans who are fighting a righteous war. China could loose more than the silk road in Africa if it does not stop supporting murderers and little dictators.
SJT 01-07-22 -A letter written by Mr. Debretsion Gebremichael, the President of Tigray, to the United Nations on 20 December 2021 has created a golden opportunity for peace in Ethiopia. Security and Justice for Tigrayans (SJT) urges the African Union, the United Nations, and the international community to play its part and use this opportunity to bring peace to the people of Tigray and Ethiopia
NAIROBI, Kenya - Secret meetings with a dictator. Clandestine troop movements. Months of quiet preparation for a war that was supposed to be swift and bloodless. New evidence shows that Ethiopia's prime minister, Abiy Ahmed, had been planning a military campaign in the northern Tigray region for months before war erupted one year ago
WASHINGTON, Jan 5 (Reuters) - U.S. Special Envoy for the Horn of Africa Jeffrey Feltman will step down from his post this month after more than nine months in the job, and David Satterfield, the outgoing U.S. ambassador to Turkey, will take up the role Mr Feltman has clearly failed the people of Tigray thus good riddance but what to make about his replacement who was a diplomat in Turkey of all other places? Good or Bad for Tigray, this is a lesson for our political leaders to understand that Tigray has no time to wait for the International community's slow process of engagement. Tigrayans can not wait for such process while dying by the hundreds everyday from drone attack and lack of medicine. Ere Yiakel!!
On the Release of Political Leaders in Ethiopia
Abiy Ahmed may have decided for many reasons to release, political leaders and retired former EPRDF officials he has incarcerated for over a year. We know one of the reasons for the release is not because he is kind or a man of peace. The man is cruel and Denkoro! While releasing these prisoners, today the same as yesterday, he is killing innocent civilians in Tigray using his mercenary UAE drones.
Tigray has shown the world individual rights and the constitutionally enshrined Article 39 is not to be desecrated by anyone let alone a hired little dictator. Peace at any cost is good, but slavery for any reason is not good. Allowing dictators and killers to go unpunished is encouraging slavery.
The negotiation underway will only work if it brings lasting peace. We hope the international community has realized this. Ethiopia without the full consent of the Oromo and Tigrayans, at the very least, will not be a country the international community can hope to be peaceful and not a source of millions of refugees. The International community should hope the Jawar's and Bekele's will be allowed to represent the Oromo's so lasting peace has a chance in Ethiopia. As for Tigray, the writing is clear, killers must be brought to justice and Tigrayans must be allowed to have unfettered say to determine their future. [Aigaforum, Jan 7, 2022]

(Beirut) – Ethiopian authorities have arbitrarily detained, mistreated, and forcibly disappeared thousands of ethnic Tigrayans recently deported from Saudi Arabia, Human Rights Watch said today. Saudi Arabia should stop holding Tigrayans in abhorrent conditions and deporting them to Ethiopia
WASHINGTON, Jan 4 (Reuters) - U.S. Horn of Africa envoy Jeffrey Feltman will visit Ethiopia on Thursday for meetings with senior government officials to discuss peace talks, a senior State Department official said, in Washington's latest push to bring an end to the conflict. Every time Tigray takes a critical step to finish the unfinished business of restoring its sovereignty, the U.S never fails to make a noise. We can only hope this time it is not a white noise but a serious step to end the siege and war imposed on Tigray.
Teodros Kiros 1-3-22 - At this time, deep in the politics of bitterness and long-lasting traumas, there is a need for speaking truth to power embodied in courage, clarity and integrity that many have longed for. Unfortunately, there have been too few, far and apart, that have had the boldness to express the pain and suffering felt by a section of the population without infusing it with further political rhetoric and acidity.
Gedda Komma 1-3-22 - The Ethiopian government, hell bent on misusing religious leaders and institutions for genocide, profiling and diplomacy against Tigray or to cover up its execution of genocide has continued unabated staging of bogus religious propaganda. The intention of using religious leaders, institutions and events is multi-dimensional, particularly the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido leaders or occasions.
Eyob Ghebreziabhier Bein 1-3-22 - I am a grammar fighter of the Tigrinya language. What I do is simply follow what my research brings me. The aim is to get to know it as much as possible in order to write a correct letter with it to the person who speaks Tigriyna.
Kalayu Abrha 1-2-22 - I just don't get it: Haven't we heard the same statements by SAWT, BAYTONA, and TIP several times before? What tests logical thinking to its limits is the frequency and timing of the official statements of the “trio”. Release a statement once; you may repeat it once more if there are modifications to the previous statement. But if you release a statement once, everyone has heard it and comments for and against it as I did in more than two occasions...
USAID 12-31-21 -Bureaucratic impediments and heightened levels of
insecurity continue to limit humanitarian access to northern Ethiopia, particularly to Tigray. No convoys carrying humanitarian aid reached Tigray's capital city of Mekele between December 15 and 30, exacerbating the already dire need for assistance.
G. woldu 12-31-2021 - Mass murder, thousands raped including children and the elderly, displacement of thousands, millions without food, water, medicine, telephone a total 360-degree siege for over a year. The world has watched while many countries like Turkey, China, the UAE, Iran pour weapons including Drones with the hope that Tigray will succumb to the onslaught waged by the delusional Abiy, Amhara chauvinist and the mercenary Eritrean army.
By Tsadkan Gebretensae 12-26-21 -The aims of the leadership of Tigray in the war in Ethiopia are, first, to save the people of Tigray from a genocidal onslaught including forced starvation and, second, to establish an all-inclusive government for Ethiopia as a whole. There is no intention to install a government in Addis Ababa led by the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF). Instead, we want the people of Tigray to govern themselves within a multi-national federal system. Read more at:

Tigray Govt 12-19-21 - Excellency,
It has been over thirteen months since the Ethiopian government in an unprecedented collaboration with foreign and domestic invading forces has waged a genocidal campaign against the people of Tigray. During this period the aggressors have committed countless atrocities including the use of hunger and sexual violence as an instrument of war.
