How long can Ethiopia's state of emergency keep the lid on anger? And How Long Must the "Tigrai Ethnic Domination" Smear Campaign Last?? Now the demands are less policy-oriented due to outrage over repression. Allegations of ethnic bias are prevalent, though it is Oromo officials who are culpable for local failings. The claims centre on a view that the Tigrayan ethnic group benefit [It is unfortunate the EPRDF has let such smear campaign left unchecked for too long. It is very irritating the TPLF is saying nothing about such smear campaign. The Oromo or the Amhara know Ethiopia is under a Federal government where each nation has its own local government. The regional budget as well as all government heads are elected or nominated by local people and by their own political organizations. TPLF nor the people of Tigrai have no power over the day to day affairs of governance which is the source of all good governance issues. Few among the white lies about Ethnic domination is the alleged domination of Addis new buildings and farmland of Gambella! Although the public is not aware both allegations are proven false! Yet the Guardian and almost all western media outlets are repeating the same smear campaign the extremist have successfully managed to wage relentlessly against the people of Tigrai! This is not right and is hurtful to the people. EPRDF must be really ashamed this is happening during its reign! Even if there are few Tigreans who abused the system they should be taken to court instead of being used as example of ethnic domination! Who is counting how every other office is staffed in any case?

SPLA soldiers in Malakal, capital of the battleground oil-state of Upper Nile on 15 May 2014
The acting SPLA spokesman, Col. Santo Dominic dismissed the report as "false",[We understand why the South Sudan actors are carrying such repeated unverified news about South Sudan and Egypt but why are some Ethiopian news sites carrying such news? Is Egypt trying to open another front to derail Ethiopia's development or are the sites simply becoming an extension for the propaganda machine in South Sudan?

It is conventional wisdom that politicians are more likely than the general population to be susceptible to sociopathic traits. Such politicians tend to be selfish, callous, remorseless, users of others, irresponsible, glib, con artists, and of course pathological liars

Lekatit11 is a national holiday for Tigreans. It is celebrated officially in a grand style every five years. However every off years the event is celebrated locally around the world. Given the politics of the day and to remind our readers and the public at large we will interview few former TPLF members to share their experience of the past.
Lekatit11 ushered the beginning of the new Ethiopia. Over 60 thousand innocent and brave volunteer lives were lost and over 30 thousand Tigreans were dismissed from the Army to make space for other nation nationalities recruits. Yet some EPRDF politicians were heard accusing Tigrai domination! Recent studies show the allegation of domination is simply untrue! Desta is one among the many veteran members of TPLF. He along with his cousin the renown martyred Mesfin returned from Yemen to join TPLF in the early seventies. Listen to his story and experience and remember all the martyred people who gave their lives so that all Ethiopians live in peace and tranquility! [Aigaforum Feb 2017]

ገቢዎችና ጉምሩክ አራት ተከሳሽ ድርጅቶች በመንግሥት ላይ ያደረሱት ጉዳት የለም አለ This case has been litigated for long. We understand public perception has no place in the court but the government must start to worry about the perception! If these folks are jailed for other reasons we think the lesson(s) learned so far may be enough. The government must help the court to transform itself and close cases in time by directing its attorneys to review cases that are taking long time for no good reason to drop!!![Aigaforum Jan 2017]
