The Late PM Meles on Narrow Nationalism and Chauvinism and how to defeat them. It is amazing! If EPRDF has such clarity on the danger the two thoughts then, when Meles was alive, how did people with such thoughts came to power through the system to derail the much fought achievements of the last 25 years? Does any one think EPRDF is aware of the danger today? Meles is missed by Ethiopians - He was an extraordinary person with a clear vision and insight! We hope God is Comforting Him!

All: Update on the Extremist Sponsored Planned Demonstration in Addis Ababa- Aug 21, 2016
Addis is as peaceful as it has been on any other day this week. The much hyped extremist sponsored demonstration that may have pushed the US State Department to post a travel alert on its webpage has not materialized. Source who phoned us from Addis informed us the city was tranquil early in the morning(9:30AM Local time) and except for the usual noises from church and mosque alike things were normal. According to our source the government was well prepared for any eventuality but it was also hoping for the people to protect their peace in their own neighborhood. As you know EPRDF executive body is in a closed door meeting for an over all assessment. The front is expected to reach a clear milestone decision in its quest to weed-out rent seekers from its ranks during this meeting. Above all the meeting will clear the way for the PM and EPRDF member organizations to open a dialogue with their respected population on any outstanding issues! Aigaforum 08-21-16

survive as a nation
The extremist media may have overwhelmed you by all the, manufactured or otherwise, negative news about Ethiopia of late! Ethiopia is a stable country with a very strong and sound foundation. The challenges it is facing today are not new. The challenges are similar to what most developed democratic countries faced at one time or another. We are told EPRDF executives are in a meeting to assess current developments. Judging from past performance we are convinced the party will emerge stronger and correct any missteps there are. Above all, rest assured Ethiopians will not be divided along Ethnic lines. We do not need to remind you about the kindness and gentleness of our people. Do not believe what the extremists are telling you! There is no people to people quarrel in Ethiopia. Simply EPRDF is growing up through the challenges and it will grow up!...Aigaforum 08-19-16
