Just a few weeks ago, Samuelsson was in town promoting his new autobiography, Yes Chef, and now he returns in one of his many other roles, as an ambassador for Illy’s new line of single origin coffees, including one from Ethiopia

Yanet Seyoum finished in 32.41, in the qualifying heat! She did not make it to the final but she is a winner in our hearts already!!!
Yanet Seyoum a champion despite coming last
When Yanet Seyoum took to the water for her Olympics 50m freestyle heat, it was a fair bet that most of her fellow competitors would not have endured a training regime of avoiding doggy-paddling tourists in a hotel swimming pool, or relied mainly on written instructions from a coach who lives in another city.

Ethiopia's foe from near and far including our own extremists are hoping for better days ahead for them after Meles! This tells us two things- one is how much PM Meles as a person has become a thorn and second is the fact that these forces will remain weak for a while for they do not understand the new Ethiopian spirit and reality! PM Meles was/is not building an empire that will crumble after he is gone. What Meles started will be finished and what he has already finished will be maintained! Once and for all let it be known that there will be no nursing of poverty! From now on Ethiopia is all about transformation and growth
