UDJ in unsurmountable dilemma!
For all it is worth we appreciate UDJ for choosing the legal option to bring change in Ethiopia. Unlike girigir 7, the UDJ folks have chosen Addis over Asmara to wage their campaign. However, UDJ is having hard time managing the growing pain any political organization goes through in its infancy. The internal bickering has been simmering for a while now! It seems the simmering has turned a notch up and it is now roasting from inside. While Prof Mesfin is accusing the leadership for gross violation, Gizachew is ridiculing
(    listen) Debebe Eshetu whom we thought was a key figure in UDJ! Apparently Debebe is not even a member of UDJ according to Gizachew! But Debebe says otherwise! (    listen)
We read UDJ complaint after complaint about the narrowing of democratic space in Ethiopia blaming the EPRDF government. The question we have is shouldn’t UDJ fix its house before it invites the EPRDF for a fight? Who is advising this organization to use EPRDF as a scapegoat? Shouldn't they deal with their dysfunctional leadership that has a blurred vision? Can anyone clarify why UDJ is joining MEDERK?
